VITAL BEARING
Privacy policy

Your health record stays under your control.

Effective July 13, 2026. Health OS is designed to help people organize and understand personal health information while keeping them in control of their records.

Local-first data handling

Health OS stores its records on the member's device by default. The current version does not provide a Health OS account, automatic cloud synchronization, advertising, cross-app tracking, or a Health OS-operated analytics service.

Apple Health

Health OS accesses Apple Health information only after the member grants permission through iOS. Members control those permissions in iPhone Settings and may change them at any time.

Authorized information is used to show health measurements, trends, progress, and personal evidence inside the app. Health OS does not use Apple Health information for advertising, data brokerage, or marketing profiles.

Information entered in Health OS

Members may choose to record profile details, health measurements, laboratory results, goals, routines, medications, supplements, peptides, exercise, notes, and subjective check-ins. These records remain on the device in the current version.

Exports and backups

Health OS can create backup and CSV files when a member explicitly requests them. These files may contain sensitive health information. The member chooses where to save or share them and is responsible for protecting exported files.

Feedback

The beta-feedback feature prepares a report from information the member deliberately enters and opens the iOS share sheet. Health OS does not send feedback automatically or attach health records automatically. The privacy practices of the destination selected by the member apply after sharing.

Face ID and device security

Members may enable an app lock using biometric authentication available on their device. Health OS receives only the authentication result and does not receive or store Face ID data.

Data collection and tracking

The current version does not transmit member health records to Health OS servers and does not include advertising, tracking, analytics, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. If these practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the changed version is distributed.

Data deletion

Members can erase the local health record from Settings → Data & Privacy. This does not delete source information in Apple Health, and Health OS pauses automatic imports after erasure. Deleting the app also removes its local app data, subject to any backups the member previously created and stored elsewhere.

Children

Health OS is not designed or marketed as an app for children.

Health information notice

Health OS is a personal information and reflection tool. It does not diagnose conditions, provide emergency care, or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Policy changes

This policy may be revised as Health OS changes. The effective date will be updated whenever a new policy is published.

Contact

Private-beta members can contact Health OS through the invitation channel provided with their TestFlight invitation or prepare a report in Settings → Help & Support → Beta Feedback. Public contact details will be added before a public App Store release.
