What is Health OS?
Health OS is a local-first personal health information and reflection app for iPhone. It organizes everyday choices beside measurements and observations so you can understand your health story over time.
Does Health OS diagnose conditions?
No. Health OS does not diagnose, prescribe, provide emergency care, or replace a qualified healthcare professional.
Can I use it without Apple Health?
Yes. Apple Health is optional. You can still record goals, routines, interventions, laboratory results, check-ins, measurements, and clinician-visit notes manually.
Where is my information stored?
The current beta stores the Health OS record on your device by default. There is no Health OS account, advertising system, analytics SDK, or automatic cloud upload.
What does “personal evidence” mean?
Health OS compares defined periods in your own records and describes observed associations. It shows confidence and limitations and never presents an association as proof that one action caused a result.
Can it track supplements and medications?
Yes. You can record supplements, medications, peptides, exercise, lifestyle changes, purposes, timing, and notes. Health OS does not recommend that you start or stop treatment.
How are laboratory results handled?
You can enter results manually or review supported text-based imports before saving. You remain responsible for confirming names, values, units, dates, and reference ranges against the original report.
Can I prepare information for a clinician?
Yes. Health OS can prepare a concise snapshot of the selected period. You decide what to include and whether to save, print, or share it.
What happens when I delete Health OS data?
Deleting a Health OS record removes the app's copy. It does not delete source measurements in Apple Health. Exported backups remain wherever you previously saved them.
How do I join the beta?
The beta is currently invitation-only through Apple TestFlight. If you received an invitation, open it on your iPhone and follow Apple's installation prompts.
